Snow Removal

How the airport works in inclement weather

At over 7,000 feet in altitude, Flagstaff Pulliam Airport receives more than 100 inches of snow annually. The airport maintains a fleet of snow removal equipment and works diligently to meet the clearance times for Commercial Service Airports per the FAA Advisory Circular 150/5200-30D during snow removal operations.

Various factors can contribute to the cancellation or delay of a flight including precipitation, temperature, ice, visibility, airline policies, pilots’ discretion, and more. Unfortunately, there is no way to predict the weather or the way any storm will act. The Flagstaff Airport is not responsible for any delays or cancellations of flights, and we advise checking your email for updates or contacting the airline directly with any questions or concerns.
